Places To Eat & Drink In Phoenix

A trip to Sake Haus is a must if you want to taste the most delicious sushi in the world! This Tokyo inspired restaurant specializes in fresh sushi, sake, cocktails, Japanese whiskey, & more. In spite of being located in downtown Phoenix, this restaurant instantly transports you to a Tokyo street bar the minute you walk inside. We were able to try all of the chef's favorites, and we have to say that everything was delicious and made from the finest ingredients! From the shishito peppers to the yellowtail maki rolls, it's so hard to choose a favorite dish. During our dining experience, we were also able to taste test their premium sakes. We enjoyed learning the history of the sakes as our server was very knowledgable and even shared his favorites. There is no doubt that the bartenders take pride in their craft, and it shows in the quality of every drink they serve. We loved how their mocktails were just as impressive as the cocktails! Overall, we had a fantastic time at Sake Haus and it has definitely become our new favorite sushi restaurant!

Behind Sake Haus is Pedal Haus Brewery, a cozy neighborhood bar with award-winning brews, cocktails, and tasty bites. The atmosphere was very welcoming as they have mini-games for you to play and also an upstairs patio to chill out. Chris & I were playing Pac-Man and throwing darts all night long! Following the games, we were then served our drinks along with their popular Brewer's board, their special take on a charcuterie board. This delicious board featured a large warm pretzel with maple butter that was surrounded by marinated olives, peppadew peppers, biere blanche cheese, and more. We enjoyed it so much that we had a hard time deciding who could have the last bite! In addition, we loved their drinks as they had a great selection to choose from. Whether you're going on the weekends for their boozy brunch or to end your night with a drink, there's sure to be something you'll love at Pedal Haus Brewery.

Be sure to checkout Luckys Indoor Outdoor bar if you're looking for the perfect place to grab a drink! This vintage themed bar offers speciality cocktails, beers, and even jello shots! There's also a few games to play while you wait. (Chris & I had an all-night skeeball competition while there lol!). We were very impressed by the outdoor patio! It was more than just a bar but a complete outdoor lounge space with swing seats, barstools, and large groups of people enjoying each other's company. We loved the ambiance as the red and purple lighting created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was also amazing, as the bartenders were very attentive and full of personality! Whether you're out with friends or spending a night out with a loved one, Lucky's is a great place to be!

We enjoyed dinner at Palma, an urban botanical sanctuary that serves Asian cuisine. Their indoor and outdoor seating evoked a sense of escaping to a tropical retreat, despite being in the heart of Phoenix. To start off, I tried the caribbean cowboy cocktail which was a twist on a Pina Colada and was delicious! I loved the bamboo tiki mug that it came in. We also tried a variety of dishes and loved every bite. The sushi was our ultimate favorite as we tried the Crunchy L.A, Lion King Maki, and the Itchy Salmon Nigiri. The lounge seating and the nursery of palm trees added to the ambiance, which looked even more beautiful at night. If you're looking for an urban oasis, Palma is your escape!

Whether you're looking for an intimate setting or want to share your exciting evening with friends, Ghost Donkey has something for everyone! This bar with a Mexican flare features 65 mezcal and 25 tequila options, as you're certain to find a drink that you'll love! Not only do they serve drinks, but they also offer light bites such as nachos, tacos, and more! As soon as you take foot, you'll be stunned by their impeccable decor. Vibrant red, pink, and purple lights adorn the ceiling, enhancing the lively atmosphere. An experience like no other awaits you at Ghost Donkey!

If you're a wine lover, you definitely have to check out Postino! It's a local wine cafe that's famous for having its iconic happy hour in Scottsdale and specializing in paninis, bruschetta, cheese boards, and more. They have a vast selection of wines and I truly enjoyed the Prosecco that our server recommended. Not a huge wine fan? No problem! They also offer speciality cocktails and mocktails that were just as delightful. Aside from the drinks, their food was even better! Our Omg Grilled Cheese appetizer was definitely the best we've ever tasted. Combined with the tomato dip soup, this grilled cheese was unlike any other. In addition to the grilled cheese, the Nine Iron panini was also another favorite. We loved Postino's relaxed atmosphere and tasty food. There's no better place to enjoy good food, wine, and vibes!

If you're seeking the best Mexican food in Phoenix, you have to check out The Mexicano! The Mexicano is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience! They go above and beyond, not only in their food quality, but also in their presentation. In addition, they also have the world's first build your own margarita bar where you can construct your own crazy margarita with over 30 craft ingredients! From gummy candies to fruits to even fruit-flavored boba, the possibilities are endless with your creations. It was the personal piñata at the end of the bar that we loved the most. It was full of Mexican candy and even had an extra tequila shot! After we finished building our drinks, we started off with their birria nachos which were amazing. We then tried the filet mignon that was served in a sizzling hot lava stone bowl and the chicken asada fajita that was served on top of sizzling lava stones. There are no words to describe how great everything was! For dessert, they served us their trio which included their strawberry compote cheesecake, hot churro cart, and a roasted pineapple flan. We were blown away by the presentation of these desserts, and they tasted even better than they looked! Overall, the Mexicano is definitely one of our top picks of restaurants to try while in Phoenix.

A trip to Beckett's Table is sure to satisfy your craving for quality comfort food! Let's start off by saying that their bacon cheddar biscuits paired with their homemade apple butter is to die for! We also loved the Mac & Cheese appetizer as it tasted more like a pasta dish compared to your traditional Mac & cheese You definitely can't leave here without trying their signature fork tender ribs. These were the most tenderest fall-off-the-bone ribs that we've ever tasted, smothered in red onion gravy sauce served over creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. In addition, their cast iron petite chicken was also really good. For dessert we tried the chocolate dipped bacon s'mores that did not disappoint! We loved the twist on traditional s'mores as all of the flavors came together harmoniously. There's no doubt that you'll leave this restaurant full and satisfied!

Get ready for a true one-of-a-kind experience as this immersive bar is like no other!

In this presidential pullman-inspired train car bar, you'll feel as if you transported back in time. We were captivated by how the bar made us feel as though we were traveling back to the early 20th century. The animated windows were a great touch as they created an illusion that you're actually on a moving train in the snowy Rocky Mountains. In addition to the decor, their drinks were also incredible. With a wide selection to choose from, their 45 specialty cocktail menu will not disappoint. I tried the Hint & Allegations and fell in love! A trip to Phoenix is not complete without getting a drink from Platform 18!

Discover Phoenix's most whimsical speakeasy! Located twelve steps underneath a local coffeee shop, this speakeasy offers a magical experience. Beyond their ethereal decor, their drinks were just as remarkable, evoking the feeling of being in wonderland! We were amazed by their drink presentations, as each drink had a themed paired to it. From drinks served in elephant statues to smoky royal cups, the entire experience was phenomenal! A magical oasis awaits at 36 Below!

There's no question that Hash Kitchen is one of our top brunch spots in Phoenix! Their brunch is absolutely amazing and their presentation is second to none. Home of the biggest Bloody Mary bar in Arizona, this restaurant takes brunching to another level. For starters, I tried the mimosa flight that came with orange, strawberry, pineapple, and blueberry mimosas. The cotton candy glitter bomb was a unique touch! The cocktails were also iconic, as each came with its own theme. I tried The Kendall which was probably one of the best cocktails that I've ever tasted and Chris ordered a mocktail that came in a light up ball topped in cotton candy! After drinks, we started off with the mini cannoli donuts and cream puffs ferris wheel. This definitely took eating puffs to another level as each pastry had its own cup seat in a rotating ferris wheel. We then tried the s'more pancakes, banana split brioche French toast, along with the billionaire's bacon. This brunch was so good that we would fly back to Phoenix just to eat it again!
